Spelling

We use the Sitton Spelling Program.  Each five to seven days the children are presented with new words.  This program relies on repetition and using the words in context.  The test at the end of the unit is given in paragraph form.  The words will reappear in later units throughout the year. There is much emphasis on using proper capitalization and the understanding of how multi-meaning words are used.
