Welcome

Pawnee Elementary School is located at 7310 S. 48th Street. Pawnee opened in 1966, on a sixteen-acre site in Sarpy County. In 1977, a six- room addition was added. Pawnee is home to approximately 620 students in grades K-6. Pawnee has a diverse student body, with approximately 20% of our students enrolled in the ESL program. Each teacher received 30 hours of specialized ESL training. The Pawnee mission statement calls for a positive learning environment that allows each student to develop his/her academic potential. The school strives to promote a genuine appreciation of human worth and dignity, as well as create an atmosphere where one's contributions are recognized and rewarded. Pawnee boasts a very active Parent-Teacher Association. Pawnee's Adopt-A-School partners include Nebraska Health Services, Bag and Save, the Bellevue Leader, and The Bookworm.
