Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are now entering testing time here at Miller Park Elementary School. Students in grades third through sixth will have one chance to take the state NeSA Math and Reading Tests. It is imperative our students give their best effort on each test and show all of the skills they have learned. Our motto this testing season is, "I pledge to SHOW WHAT I KNOW!" Each teacher will be sending out a letter informing you of the specific dates pertaining to your child’s testing time. It is very important you talk with your child about how important these two tests are and assure they follow the helpful hints below to give them every advantage possible. Miller Park’s test scores have continued to improve over the past two years and I feel very confident we are going to hit a home run this year. Our teachers and students have been working so hard and have been focused this year so, I know we are going to show major growth!

4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, March 6th
4:00 – 6:30 p.m.
• Thursday, March 8th
1:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Helpful Testing Hints
Third Quarter Report Card Conferences are coming up the week of March 5th. As always, we expect 100% parent/guardian participation so, mark your calendar. Our teachers will work around your schedule to set an appointment that is suitable for you.
- Get 9 hours of sleep the night before a test
- Arrive to school at 8:30 a.m.
- Eat a nutritional breakfast(Free at school)
- Remain focused on the test
- Give your best effort
- Never give up
