The staff and students of Howard Kennedy elementary school are dedicated to using the latest in technology to improve their reading, writing and math skills.  We will be using technology to compliment and enhance our traditional classroom instruction. 

Students at Howard Kennedy have been introduced to several computer-based programs.  Some students have used programs such as Fast Math, Kidspiration, Stationary Studio Pro, typing programs, online math and language activities, and iMovie. 

This year, we will begin introducing our students to weblogs, also called blogs.  Initially, a select group of students will be using the blogs for writing assignments.  Hopefully, we will eventually expand this program to include more students and/or more in depth writing. 

At some point in the future, we hope to link their blogs to this website.  At the moment, those blogs are not available for the general public to view.
