The third graders were excited to complete five weeks of Laptop Training which was especially helpful to me.  Now they can help this teacher with their technological expertise.   We are picking up speed in Math as CRT time is approaching and  practicing for our  Buros Reading Test.  Although it is not until spring Buros practice can never begin too soon.  So many skills to cover.  For any new third grade parents the Buros is a Reading test  given to all Omaha third graders in April to test vocabulary, comprehension, and story mapping skills to name a few.  Feel free to ask questions about the CRT testing and the Buros.  Your student can use lots of practice and families can help.  Fluent on Friday has been coming home to encourage reading at a better pace and  understanding what they are reading.  Thanks for your support with this.  Our students have been journaling, writing narratives, and publishing (typing on the computer) their creations.  Check out the bulletin board in our hall to see some of our talented writers' contributions.  Please contact me at 457-5520 or e-mail me at:
