My name is Carol Harpenau, the counselor at Kellom School. I have been with OPS for the last 13 years and I love working with the children.
As a guidance counselor I have weekly guidance lessons with each classroom. Our focus is usually around a character trait or our monthly theme. The Six CHARACTER TRAITS are listed to the right of this page. I also provide small groups for students who are having a difficulty in a particular area, or just need some support in a difficult situation, like a death/divorce/ friendship.Students also have the opportunity to speak to me on a one to one.
