The Omaha Food Bank has over 360 different organizations that depend on it to provide food for those who are in need.

Items that are collected or donated for the Food Bank are first weighed and then placed within the warehouse into assorted categories.

Omaha has several nation-wide companies that donate food to the Food Bank for the local metropolitan area.  These companies include Con Agra, Keebler, and Kelloggs.

For the past five years, Joslyn has supported the Food Bank by holiday food drives to help supply the Food Bank with canned food items.

All of these items that we bring to school go to families who are in need.

Joslyn will begin its Annual Canned Food Drive on October 9 and continue through October 23.
 
Canned food items will be used as a ticket to attend Joslyn’s Harvest Party dance on October 17.
