Mrs. McFadden - Gifted/Talented

Gifted and talented education. On cycle days 4-9, I spend the day at Joslyn teaching on the stage and in the computer lab. Students qualify for G/T services by achieving high scores on CAT tests or by teacher nominations based on classroom performance. The students have a scheduled class once a week. Specialized G/T instruction consists of math, language arts and creative activities constructed using the G/T framework.  Judging from student reactions, they enjoy the enriching curricular extensions.
