Babysitting Clinic	Anne Chambers Committee filled	This committee is responsible for organizing the Red Cross babysitting clinic. This is a short-term fall and spring commitment.
Bag 'N Save Liaison	Monnica Long-Theil	This person will coordinate everything that the PTO asks our "Adopt-A-School" partner, Bag 'N Save, to be involved in. All requests must go through our liaison. This is an intermittent year long commitment.
Family Nights	Susan Norris Need one more committee member	This committee is responsible for planning and coordinating the family nights at Joslyn. this is an intermittent, but year-long, commitment.
Joslyn Achievement Award	Previous year honorees and the school principal	This committee is responsible for accepting, reviewing and evaluating nominations, along with selecting the new honorees.
Joslyn Beautification/Earth Day (Gardening)	Holli Wreith and Scott Hirchert Need seven more committee members	This committee takes care of our gardens located around Joslyn School. This is a year-long commitment.
Hospitality	Andrea Gregerson Committee filled	This committee is responsible for providing and/or coordinating refreshments for PTO meetings, parent teacher conferences and other PTO activities throughout the year. This is an intermittent, but year-long, commitment.
Legislation	Kelly Keller	This person is responsible for informing Joslyn PTO members on current legislative issues. This is an intermittent, but year-long, commitment.
PTO Membership	Kelly Keller Committee filled	This committee is responsible for coordinating the promotion of the PTO and enrollment of new members. This is mostly a fall commitment.
PTO Business Membership	Jeremy Decker	This person is responsible for encouraging enrollment of business establishments as PTO business partners. This is a late summer and fall commitment.
Popcorn Volunteers	Ben Livingston Need four more committee members	This committee runs the popcorn machine in conjunction with school store days (once a month). The number of volunteers will determine the number of times a year each volunteer needs to help.
Scholarship	Linda Abrahamson and Rhonda Obradovich	This committee helps review the scholarship applications and selects three winners. This is a short-term spring commitment.
School Sign	Kelly Keller Need three more committee members	This committee takes turns changing the message on the school signs. This is a one or two month commitment.
Sixth Grade Celebration	Lisa Parizek Need one more committee member	This committee is responsible for coordinating the end of year celebration for sixth graders and their parents. This is a short-term, late spring, commitment. No sixth grade parents should be on the committee.
Skating Parties	Susan Norris	This person will be responsible for coordinating the family skating parties. There will be two roller skating parties, one in November and one in February.
Support Staff Appreciation	Susan Norris Need one more committee member	This committee plans and coordinates a special breakfast or lunch for the Support Staff Appreciation Day. This is an early spring commitment.
Teacher Appreciation	Tammy Zbylut Committee filled	This committee plans and cordinates a special week honoring the school faculty along with serving a "theme" luncheon during Teacher Appreciation week. This is a late winter/early spring commitment.
YMCA Basketball	Mike Norris Committee filled	This committee is responsible for coordinating the YMCA basketball program. This includes signing up of players, recruiting coaches and coordinating practice times. This is a fall and winter commitment.

Bake Sale

This committee is responsible for organizing the annual bake sale held during Open House. This is a short-term fall commitment.

Cartridge/Phone Recycling Brenda Goodlett This committee is responsible for calling the company when the used printer cartridges and cell phones need to be picked up (if necessary). This is an intermittent year long commitment.

General Mills "Box Tops for Education"
Dawn Zimmerman

Need one committee member

This person is responsible for coordinating the "Box Tops for Education" program. This at home project is intermittent but year long.

Fall Fundraiser
Susan Kawamoto

Need two committee members
This committee is responsible for the major fundraiser for Joslyn. Handing out order forms, collection of order forms and organizing pick-up day. It requires a fairly large fall commitment and a lesser commitment in the winter.

Hy-Vee Gold Receipts
Tammy Post
This person is responsible for collection, counting and turning in Hy-Vee gold receipts for cash. This is a fall and early winter commitment that can be done from the home.

Soup Labels Tracy Yetter
This person is responsible for coordinationg Campbell's soup labels for education programs. This is a good at home project, which is done throughout the year.

Pictures

This is a one time commitment in the early fall. Volunteers assist with the collection of picture money on picture day.

This committee is responsible for ordering, sales and distribution of Joslyn spirit wear. This is mainly a fal commitment.

Yearbook Need four committee members
This committee is responsible for organizing the yearbook, taking extra pictures of children and making sure all people are photographed for the yearbook. This is an intermittent but year long commitment.
