Welcome to 2nd grade!! 

This will be an exciting year.  In September we have been working on our math skills.   We have set our individual goals for math, reading, and citizenship.  Class rules and manners are two things we are practicing daily.  When we do a great job we celebrate our progress. 

In math, we are working to memorize our addition and subtraction math facts.   Each student graphs their progress to watch their graph grow. 

In reading we are working on learning more sight words and becoming more fluent readers.  We use story maps to check our comprehension. 

Sentence Karate is a fun way to help us edit sentences.  Kay-ya!! 

 Please come and visit our room.  The students love to show you what they have learned.  You can have fun and celebrate with us.  We are so smart!

REMEMBER Conferences are October 21 & 23.
