WELCOME TO GIFTED EDUCATION

Welcome to the Gifted Education site!  I am a Facilitator at  Sunny Slope, Pawnee, Jackson, and Bancroft schools. I grew up  in Sacramento, California and did my undergraduate classes at the Sacramento State University.  I taught as an elementary classroom teacher for six years in Sacramento.  After I married my Air Force husband, we began traveling from place to place.  We have two children.  I now have a Masters of Education degree and an endorsement in Gifted Education.  I have been in the Gifted Education department at Omaha Public Schools for sixteen years.

Classes for Gifted Education will begin the week of August 31st.  In the meantime, I will be selecting qualified students and conferring with the classroom teachers.  Parents may contact me anytime at 557-2299 ext. 8945.  I am looking forward to seeing all of my students.  I hope you have had a wonderful summer.
