The Rights of a High Ability Learner

The High Ability Learner has the right to.....

  •          Be academically challenged
  •        Learn something new every day
  •        Be involved in educational decisions
  •        Be creative
  •        Learn with intellectual peers
  •        Be taught by teachers who understand their learning needs
  •        Learn in new and different ways
  •        Be exempt from material already mastered
  •        Have adult support and mentors
  •        Fail, make mistakes
  •        Be accepted as a unique individual
  •        Soar as high as one can go
