Welcome to First Grade!

               We will have an exciting year of learning!

In Reading this year we will practice the letters and sounds of the alphabet. We will sing, dance and read with the help of the Animated Literacy Characters. We will work hard all year to learn to read new books and sightwords.

 

In Math this year we will practice counting and writing our numbers from 1 to 100. We will learn addition and subtraction and practice counting on and counting back. We will graph gummy bears, apples, and even our favorite foods!
