We are looking forward to a great year of writing, reading, word study, math, social studies, and science.  

In Social Studies we have been working on Native American-Plains Indian history of Nebraska.  If you are looking for more ideas of what to research look at the tabs to the side for websites to research.  We have been studing shelters, art, tools and clothing types of the Plains Indians.

Math we are looking at Geometry.  Lines, rays, and angles are what we are studing most.  Have your child look for parallel lines, perpendicular lines, and intersecting  lines.  We are also looking for obtuse, acute and right angles.
