I have been teaching second grade for over ten years. I enjoy teaching at Gomez-Heritage and I really  love spending my day with second graders. My favorite subjects to teach are Literature, Reading and Social Studies.  I feel very strongly about issues that affect our world, and I like teaching my students ways they can make our Earth a better place for everyone.
     When I am not at school my husband and I like playing with our two very lazy cats.  Their names are Emmet and Sophie.  They are soft, sweet and cuddly.
