I am beginning my third year of teaching at Fontenelle Elementary as a resource teacher in the primary grades, K-3.  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Morningside College in Sioux City, IA.  As a resource teacher, I work with students in the primary grades on improving their performance in reading, writing, and math.  Along with being a resource teacher at Fontenelle, I tutor students on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45-5:00.  Please make sure to sign your students up to participate in the tutoring program again this year.  I also help coach the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade softball team in the spring and summer.  We had another fun season this year!

I am looking forward to a great 2009-2010 school year!!

About Our Resource Program
Minimize

Fontenelle Elementary has a full inclusion model for delivering special education services. Full inclusion is the idea that each student will receive their services in the least restrictive environment, the regular education classroom. As the special education teacher, I go into the classroom and co-teach with the regular education teacher.

Be sure to check out the websites to the left to help your child practice math and reading skills at home!
