Welcome To My Webpage!
Hello! My name is Abigail Torrey, and this is my 2nd year teaching at Fontenelle Elementary. I am excited to be here teaching 6th grade resource. I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, IA and moved here to teach. Currently, I am working on my master's degree in special education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. When I'm not in school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my dog, reading, working on my house and watching movies.
One of my greatest joys when I was in school was learning, and that continues to this day, I hope to instill that love of learning into my students and make them life long learners. I know that teaching your children is a huge responsibility, and one that I take very seriously. I know this is a big responsibility, but I need your help all the children achieve their highest potential. Please use this webpage as a tool to stay in contact with me. I will post announcements, what we've been up to, and other important things. If you need to get a hold of me, you may call me at school at 457-5905, or email me at
