Hi. I'm Mr. Schmelzer. I teach one of the four, third grade classes here at Field Club. This is my first year teaching but I do have experience working in the classroom setting with deaf and hearing impaired students. I enjoy books, and reading about a variety of subjects.  Science is another favorite of mine and I love doing experiments in the classroom. Our focus here at Field Club is on reading and writing and we will practice these skills in many fun and interesting ways. We also have Mrs. Coffeen joining us in the afternoons and welcome her experience in helping the students of room 215 grow and learn.
