Hello and Bienvenidos!
    This is the first and second grade reading teacher site of Lori Cupit Stott and Tina Powell.  We have been teaching in OPS for over 11 years with the majority of our time at Field Club Elementary as 1st grade classroom teachers.  We began working together as reading teachers in 2006-2007.  We share this position with Tina teaching at the beginning of the week and Lori teaching at the end of the week. Working this schedule allows us time at home with our own small children while still having the opportunity to work with your children.  We feel very blessed to have the best of both worlds.
    We also feel very fortunate that we are able to work with most of the first and second grade students at some point during the year.  We work with students on letter and letter sound recognition, sight words, and various reading strategies.
