Welcome to Room 105!!

         My name is Caroline Darling and I will be your child's first grade teacher this year.  This is my tenth year teaching first grade at Dundee.  I also attended Dundee as a student when I was growing up.

         I received my bachelor's degree in elementary education from Iowa State University and my master's degree in education with a specialization in early childhood education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

        My husband Ben teaches fourth grade here at Dundee.  I have an eight year old stepson named Jake who will be a third grader this year and a 6 month old named Thomas.

We will be learning many wonderful things this year.  Feel free to check this site frequently to see all of the great things we are doing.  This site will inform you about any upcoming events and what we are learning. I look forward to a great first grade year.
