Crestridge Magnet is located at 818 Crestridge Road in Omaha. Students are served in kindergarten through sixth grade. The Crestridge Magnet staff has developed a curriculum to reflect many countries representing a variety of cultures, regions and levels of economic development and geographic locations. Thematic, inquiry-based learning provides a window to the world and uses literature to link each culture at every grade level. Many special events, celebrations, songs, games and visuals identify Crestridge as an International/Global Studies Magnet Center. Spanish is introduced in kindergarten, Spanish and French are studied in first grade and Spanish, German and French are studied in second grade. Students in grades three through six choose from German, French or Spanish to concentrate on as they complete their studies at Crestridge. Crestridge also offers an excellent dual language program where children are taught in Spanish and English starting in kindergarten! Crestridge provides a quality education that ensures all students are successful learners and responsible citizens with a global perspective.
