Mrs. Page and Mrs. Niemeier are the third grade teachers at Columbian. They work closely together to plan relevant activities to meet the content standards while at the same time differentiating activities to meet the individual needs of each child.

During the year you will see your child make many transitions: such as moving from "learning to read" to "reading to learn", writing in manuscript to writing in cursive, and becoming "forever spellers". They will become Resourceful Readers, Master Mathematicians, Omaha Experts, Willing Writer's and High Level Thinkers.

Our focus is on your child's success; we work from the first day of school to the last on transitioning your student from being a primary student to an intermediate student.
