Our school gardens are a perfect opportunity for the upcoming sixth grade students to earn volunteer service hours. As part of the GROW program, classrooms are planting gardens relating to their curriculum for the year.
We need volunteers to weed and care for the gardens throughout the summer. We are asking that students commit to one week during the
summer. During that week, the student AND their parent/guardian will weed and care for the gardens.
The gardens depend on the volunteers so please be sure to keep your date handy and remember to have your student fulfill their obligation. Reminder notes will be sent once the schedule is complete.
Please download and review the Summer Garden Hours form listed at the right and select your date of choice. Please return the form before the end of the school year.
For completed summer volunteer hours, please turn in completed forms at the beginning of the school year to obtain credit.
