EXCELS PLUS
The goal of our EXCELS PLUS plan is high student achievement along with creating and maintaining a safe and secure learning environment.
This is a six-year process in which Castelar will have the opportunity to do the following:
- Set achievement goals and assessments
- Plan and use teaching strategies
- Analyze assessment results
- Identify student who needs are not being met
- Adapt Instruction
- Document student success
GOALS of EXCELS PLUS
Communications
All students will increase reading comprehension across the curriculum.
Math/Science
All students will improve problem-solving skills across the curriculum.
Safe and Secure Climate
All students will demonstrate respect and responsibility for others in the learning environment and school activities.
