Thank you for visiting the Castelar Elementary Web Page.  My name is Mr. Kaldahl and it is my privilege to serve as the Assistant Principal of Castelar Elementary.  My responsibilities are vast in providing administrative support for all stakeholders in many different ways.  Prior to joining the staff at Castelar in 2007, I served in a variety of roles for the Omaha Public Schools.  These include: Dean of Students (Marrs Middle School), sixth grade teacher and special education teacher (Field Club Elementary).  

Castelar is a great place to be.  Nearly 90 staff members, as diverse as our students, work collaboratively to support the District Mission of providing our students with educational opportunities which enable them to achieve their highest potential.  I consider myself truly blessed to be a part of the Castelar family and look forward each day to working with our staff, students and families.
