Mrs. Lager - Vocal Music
Minimize

Welcome to the music site  for Beals.  I have been teaching for OPS since 1987.   I have been teaching at Beals since 1988.   Wow!   What a long time.

I was born in southern Kansas and graduated from Pittsburg State in Pittsburg Kansas.   You may have heard of the Pittsburg Gorillas whose sports teams play UNO.  I have lived in NE since the 1960s, have raised a family of 4 daughters, and am now enjoying the life of a grandmother with 4 grandchildren whom I spoil on a regular basis.

As a vocal music teacher,  I try to teach your children first and foremost to love music.  Most of the time your child is in music, we will be singing.  However, our curriculum covers music theory as well as music history.   Whether singing a folk song, a spiritual or a  more recent rap, your child will be learning, learning, learning.   Hopefully they will learn to love singing as much as I do.
