Welcome to the home page of Mrs. Sue Ketzler.

My hours at Beals Elementary are 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  If you need to reach me, you can call Beals at 554 - 8570 or reach me by e-mail at

I have been teaching at Beals since the fall of 1978.  I graduated with a BS in elementary and special education from Creighton University in 1978.  I received my Master's Degree in Learning Disabilities in 1982 from the University of Nebraska, and a Specialist Degree in administration in 1992 from the University of Nebraska.

This year I am working with kindergarten students in both Mrs. Smiley's and Mrs. Merica's classrooms, as well as Mrs. Viola's 6th grade classroom, during reading instruction.  I am also assisting with tutoring newcomers in the ESL program.  It has been a rewarding year working with all the students in these classrooms and becoming a part of their education.
