Aloha and welcome to 6th grade!  I graduated from the University of Hawaii with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology and a 5th year in Education. In addition, I have an endorsement in ELL (English Language Learners).  I've been teaching for over 20 years and have been at Beals since 1995. Having been a 6th grade teacher for many years, I enjoy the opportunity to work with  your child as well as the curriculum at the intermediate level.  I am currently on the Safe, Security, and Discipline Schools Committee  and Safety Patrol Team.  As an educator, I believe it is important to establish a positive relationship with both child and parent(s), therefore, I encourage you to contact me at any time  between 8:00 to 4:00 at 554-8570 if you have any concerns.
