Welcome Third Graders and Parents,

Hi! My name is Heather Blumel.  This is my first year teaching.  I graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha in December 2007 with a BS in Elementary Education.  I am currently working on my Master’s Degree in Reading.  I have one daughter, Sydney, who is in Fourth grade.  We also have a dog, Allie, and a guinea pig, Squirt.  I am an avid Husker and Maverick hockey fan.  In my spare time, what little there is, I enjoy running and playing tennis.  I am looking forward to working with you all this year.
