Open House is tonight from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Besides the opportunity to see your child’s classroom, school work and talk with the teacher, PTA will be selling The Beals Meal Deal, which is a beef hotdog, popcorn and a pop for only $2.00! You’ll have time to spend with your child in their classroom and still be able to get a meal. For dessert, stop by the Bake Sale table.
FUNDRAISER PICKUP: Fundraiser pickup is Wednesday, October 11, 2006 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Please mark your calendars for this date as PTA has no place to store your purchases or frozen food orders.
Did you know just how important joining the PTA could be? Many educational laws are affected by response through PTA. It is a way for you as parents to stay current on school activities and to bring to our attention any concerns you may have on the education your child is getting. Here at Beals we are very concerned about your child’s education, and we know you are too. Please show your support for your children and our school by joining the Beals PTA. Individual memberships are $5.00 or both parents (or grandparents) can join for only $8.00.
PTA MEMBERSHIP DRIVE: CALLING ALL PIZZA EATERS..... PTA will throw a Pizza Party for the class who has the highest percentage of PTA members. Most kids love pizza! Please join the PTA and your kids could end up eating pizza for lunch! The contest is already underway and will end October 31st! Join today....and your kids could be eating pizza soon!
The next PTA meeting is Thursday, October 12, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. in the Library. For more information about what PTA is all about, please try to attend this meeting. Everyone is welcome. The PTA keeps very busy with the various activities of the school year and this year is no exception. From holiday parties, book fairs, and fundraising, we need your help. Please plan to attend this meeting and join the PTA. At this meeting we will be making plans for Parent/Teacher Conferences and the Bobcat Bash!
A Contest is already underway...Please send all BoxTops, Our Family and Campbell Labels in a sealed envelope or bag with your childs teachers name clearly listed. The class that collects the most boxtops and labels by October 25th will win a party. Contests will be quarterly. Right now Our Family labels have a triple value! Please send any Our Family labels to school by October 16th, so we can take advantage of this offer!
