We wanted to alert you early about the change in the Holiday Program. This year the program is schedule for Tuesday, December 6th! The morning program begins at 9:30 AM and the afternoon will begin at 1:30 PM. In the past the Holiday Program has been on the last Friday before Winter Break, so this date is a change. We are anticipating a terrific program!
Turning the Clocks Back!
Don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour on Saturday night! You get that one extra hour of sleep!
Halloween
We will be participating in Halloween activities on Monday, October 31st, beginning at 2:15 p.m. Students may dress up in costumes, if they choose. We encourage students to relate your costume to a book character or a positive famous person. Please leave blood and toy weapons at home! We will be going on parade, weather permitting. The parade route will include going out the east doors and taking the sidewalk in front of the building west to 49th street. We will come down the street behind the building and enter the building at the gym door. A drink and treat are provided by the PTA. Thank you PTA!!
Star Students
We had some terrific Star Students who enjoyed lunch with Mrs. Whitehouse! To be a Star Student, a child must show a caring attitude, be a good citizen, and work hard on school work! For the month of October the students were: Fadi A., Amelia R., Jacob M., Katie F., Sam T., Alyssa C., Halee A., Veronica T., Ashley S., Maria R., Blaze B., Sahsha L., Valeria A., Jennifer Z., Blake R., Ariana A., Myles B., Celestina T., Katie C., Kimberly M., Arianit E., Nicole A., Carolina A., Nathan R., Christina V., Eduardo C., Colton H., Ayah N., Kurt P., and Alicia M.
