Character Counts
Our focus this month is trustworthiness. Students had an assembly that demonstrated what it is to be trustworthy. Discussions and lessons in the classrooms help to reinforce this character. Encourage your kiddo to talk about it at home.
Class Pictures
Class Pictures are scheduled for Tuesday, March 7th. You will also have the opportunity to have individual pictures taken of your child. Envelopes will be going home in the future. Payment must be made on or prior to March 7th.
Conflict Managers
We have some students who were chosen to be Conflict Managers! A conflict manager is a student who has been selected to help other students solve minor problems. Our counselor, Mr. Guenther, spent a morning training students to help other students. If students want help, the conflict managers help identify a problem and help students solve their own problems. Students are able to learn to independently and appropriately problem solve and not always rely on an adult. – Of course, when necessary, or when a serious issue exists, adults do intervene to help students be successful.
