Kindergarten Round up
Kindergarten Round Up is scheduled for Tuesday, March 15th beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the school gym.  We are looking forward to meeting our new kindergartners!  We are excited about both classes being all day programs.   Please call us(554-8570) and let us know you will be visiting.  Plan to bring with you your child’s birth certificate, shot records, and address verification(MUD or OPPD bill with your name on it.) If you are looking at coming to Beals and are not in our area, you are more than welcome to visit during our Kindergarten Round Up, but will need to “round up” ( fill out the paper work) at your home school.   If you know someone who will be attending, yet may not have access to this information, please pass it along!  Thank you!

Cold and Flu Season
WOW – we have really been bombarded with colds and the flu!  Here are some simple steps for scrubbing those germs away.
Wash your hands in warm water.
Use soap and lather up to 10-15 seconds.  Don’t forget under the fingernails and your wrists!
Rinse and dry well with a clean towel.
Make it a habit to wash:
Before eating and cooking
After using the bathroom
After cleaning around the house
After touching animals
After visiting or taking care of someone who is ill.
After blowing your nose
After being outside
No School
THERE IS NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS AND STAFF ON MONDAY FEBRUARY 21ST DUE TO PRESIDENT’S DAY.  THERE IS NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 22ND DUE TO A TEACHER INSERVICE DAY.  THE TEACHERS WILL BE DISCUSSING THE TEACHING STRATEGIES THEY USE AND LEARNING ADDITIONAL WAYS TO TEACH  THROUGH DIFFERENTIATED INSTRUCTION.

We Thank You….
We would like to thank everyone who came to the Valentines Day parties and assisted.  All the kiddos seemed to have a wonderful time.  A big thank you to all the teardrop drive and parking lot parents for their help.  The traffic seems to have a smoother flow.  We appreciate you staying with your car until you see your youngster.  Just a reminder that Prekindergarten and Kindergarten are the only grades picked up in the teardrop drive.  All other grades need to go to the lower parking lot.   Thank you for being kind to your fellow parents!

Class Pictures
Class pictures are scheduled for Tuesday, March 8th!  Pictures are scheduled for the morning except for afternoon prekindergarten.  Envelopes will be going home within the next ten days.  Individual pictures will also be offered.  The money must be at school on or prior to March 8th.   Checks are made payable to Scholastic Photography.  Thank you!
