The counseling program at King Elementary is designed to serve all students in a supportive manner.  Every student will participate in classroom guidance lessons taught by the counselor.  Lessons deal with topics such as:  friendship, communication skills, decision making, feelings, and career awareness.  Small group counseling, individual counseling, and home visits are also components of the counseling program.
