Welcome to Miss Nissen's 6th grade class.  This year we will be going on an exciting journey of discovery.  In Math we will be focusing on decimals, fractions, graphing, and pre- algebra.  Social Studies will involve examining the history and culture of a variety of locations such as Russia and The Pacific Islands.  For Reading and Language Arts we will continue to expand our vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency through whole group reading as well as guided reading.
