Beveridge Magnet Center is located at 1616 South 120 Street in Omaha. This middle school serves seventh and eighth grades students as a Magnet School of the Arts and Global Studies. Students can choose a major and acquire knowledge and skills in their choice of visual and performing arts. They demonstrate their proficiencies through performances, demonstrations, and exhibits. Students also learn about world issues and the effect of world events on their lives and future goals. Students have a unique chance to experience two full years of instruction in an international language. They participate in an instructional model that includes thematic, interdisciplinary units that connect learning across the curriculum and relate to real-life global issues and events. Students' achievement of both the standards of the district content and the theme areas of the magnet program enhance the strong tradition of high expectations for all students at Beveridge Magnet Center.
