Boyd Elementary School is located at 8314 Boyd Street in Omaha. The diverse student population is served in grades prekindergarten through sixth grade. Many unique opportunities are offered to students in mathematics and science through the Banneker Project and through special programs in reading, gifted and talented challenge classes and special education. Several business partners provide both human and financial resources. Boyd School is an integral part of the Keystone neighborhood community. Neighborhood volunteer assistance in conjunction with an active Parent-Teacher Association provides many school activities for the student body. A well-rounded academic program and the involvement of students, staff, parents and community assist Boyd School accomplish its mission, that of providing the best learning environment for all students to reach their highest potential.
