Conestoga Magnet Center is located at 2115 Burdette Street in Omaha. The school serves students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Curriculum is designed to provide opportunities for students to develop sophisticated knowledge and skills in mathematics and economics education. Interesting and challenging activities prepare children for more advanced studies and a comprehensive view of the economic and mathematical influences on their lives and future. Computer technology and its application to mathematics and economics are emphasized. Students learn to use data effectively both in problem solving and communication. They explore career options and the variety of experiences open to them. Parents and community members are actively involved and provide support and expertise. The curriculum, instructional activities, parent and community support all contribute to providing an enriched learning environment where every child develops to his or her greatest potential. |
