The mission of Student/Community Relations is to provide resources and build relationships that lead to improved student learning, stronger families, and healthier communities.
Student Community Relations (SCR) Goals:
Goal 1: To initiate and/or coordinate programs that provide special support services to all students.
Goal 2: To provide staff services and programs with emphasis on human relation skills, cultural awareness, diversity, equity issues, classroom management, communication skills, and crisis prevention/intervention and management.
Goal 3: To increase family and community involvement in the educational process to improve student's academic success, social responsibility and physical and emotional well being.
Goal 4: To enhance the coordination of safe and drug free programs district-wide.
