Responsible for determining eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment and attendance of all children and families in Head Start (3-5 years) and Early Head Start (6 weeks-3 years). Head Start also offers families full-day or part-day enrollment options. Parents are offered opportunities and support  to identify their individual as well as family strengths, needs and interests to allow them to set realistic goals toward self-sufficiency. In addition, we assist families in dealing with difficult situations and overcoming barriers to improve children’s classroom attendance. Further, Head Start provides linkages, through collaborations with other service providers in the community, to keep families informed of available resources.
