What is Careers for Kids?

Careers for Kids is a program designed to prepare students for academic, career, and college success by providing them the resources and support necessary to achieve their postsecondary goals. Through partnerships with postsecondary institutions, employers, and community organizations in the Omaha area, Careers for Kids facilitates a wide variety of college preparation activities and career experiences.  Student activities include small and large group programs and one-on-one meetings with a Careers for Kids Specialist.  The Careers for Kids activities and meetings provide a foundation for participants to develop the skills and knowledge required for successful employment in a sustainable, living-wage career.
