SubFinder is an automated calling system which speaks to users with a human voice and prompts them through easy-to-use menus, allowing the users to respond to the menu options by pressing numbers on the keypad of a touch tone phone.
Substitutes can call the system to review job opportunities, cancel job assignments, change their telephone number or change days available to work. The system calls substitutes to offer job assignments. Substitute data also lists the days of the week the substitute normally is available, the site locations they will or will not work, and the job areas for which they are qualified to work.
The system operates on a 24-hour basis. Therefore, a substitute may call in to receive an assignment any time during the day or night. It is requested that calls not be made during the morning call out period (5:45 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.)
