Student Transportation Part Time Jobs
General Information and Requirements
Bus Drivers: $14.38
If you like to drive and enjoy working with children and students, join the A team and drive a small (16-24 Passenger) bus for OPS Student Transportation. Requires availability to work a split morning/afternoon shift. Guaranteed minimum of 5 1/2 hours daily.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License and School Permit
  • CDL license with Passenger Endorsement (Training Provided)
  • Must maintain a safe driving record
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Proven attendance and work record
  • Successful completion of all required training including First Aid / CPR
  • Minimum of (3) years of driving experience preferred
  • Meet insurability requirements of the District
  • Successful completion of Department of Transportation (DOT) functional capacity physical
  • Successful completion of drug / alcohol screening.
Bus Aide: $11.31
Assist drivers to insure the safety of students to and from designated locations. Aides must be available to work a split morning/afternoon shift. Guaranteed minimum of 5 1/2 hours daily.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proven attendance and work record
  • Evidence of sensitivity and respect for others and the ability to serve as a positive role model for youth
  • Successful completion of required training including First Aid / CPR
  • Successful completion of Department of Transportation (DOT) functional capacity physical
  • Successful completion of drug / alcohol screening.
