$9.54 - $10.54 per hour minimum.
Currently accepting applications for Substitute Workers, Kitchen Assistants, Cashiers, Cooks, and Managers. Training provided. Flexible hours. 10 month/school year positions. Opportunities for advancement and full time employment.
Nutrition Service Staff:
Primary responsibilities include food preparation, customer serivce to students and staff, and maintaining high sanitation standards.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven attendance and work history
- Effective and proper verbal and written communication
- Production oriented
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to apply basic arithmetic to job related tasks
- Previous food service experience and work with children
- Ability to frequently use handheld tools, devices, instruments and automated equipment.
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop and maintain balance while performing job-related tasks.
- Ability to work in standing/walking positions on a constant basis throughout the work shift.
- Ability to lift, move and reposition objects and material-frequently exerting force equal to lifting twenty-five (25) pounds to fifty (50) pounds.
- Successfully completes orientation and training for Nutrition Service employees including Douglas County Food Handlers and Kitchen Assistant training.
