Gilder Elementary celebrated OPS's 150th anniversary by paying tribute to the school's namesake (Nebraska artist Robert Gilder), its history and diversity, its former principals, and the community. Several families have mulitple generations who have attended Gilder Elementary. Students and staff also created works of art that included a mural, J Doe Gilder bears and postcards.
