Congratulations to the Lewis & Clark boys basketball team for winning the City Championship!
The Lewis and Clark Trailblazers took on the Morton Panthers on December 15th for the city championship game. It truly was a game worthy of being called the championship. The Blazers led by 10 at the half. In the second half, the Morton Panthers were able to pull within 4 points with only minutes left to play. But the Blazers proved not only are they a physically tough team, they are also a mentally tough team, and for the second game in a row, they answered the challenge of the Panthers by playing great defense as well as smart, late game situational basketball. Final Score: Lewis and Clark 41, Morton 35. The team is coached with a "We Not Me" philosophy led by Coach Ryan Hanson and Coach Burke Behne.
