OfficeMax annually celebrates "A Day Made Better" by providing teachers across the country with more than $1,000 worth of school supplies for their classrooms. This year, two OPS teachers were honored with a surprise visit from OfficeMax employees.

Pictured above, Kennedy Elementary kindergarten teacher Bernadette Chambers gets a helping hand from OfficeMax store manager Erica Collins as she inspects the boxes of school supplies presented to her as part of OfficeMax's "A Day Made Better" program as employee Anthony Hardwick and district manager Melanie Riggs look on. Each year, OfficeMax presents more than $1 million worth of supplies to 1,000 teachers across the nation.

Central Park Elementary second-grade teacher Jennifer LeClair received $1,700 worth of school/office supplies from OfficeMax as part of its "A Day Made Better" program. Pictured with LeClair are her students and (in the back row from l to r) store manager Bill Phillips (132nd and Center), commercial center manager Geoff Pesek (132nd and Center), principal Mary Austin and assistant principal Tamika Walker.
