Howard Kennedy Elementary summer school students spent fun-filled days engaged in academic studies, enrichment activities and field trips. Computer software programs such as "Fast Math" and "Imagine Learning" helped students improve their math and reading skills, while art programs, P.E. activities and golf lessons provided students with opportunities to tap their creative imaginations and stay fit. All-day excursions to the Lauritzen Gardens, Gifford Farms, Schramm Park, the Wildlife Safari and the Henry Doorly Zoo exposed students to new and interesting outdoor learning experiences as well.
