Congratulations to Lothrop Science and Technology Magnet Center for being the first school in the metro area to receive the Green School Certification, sponsored by the Green Education Council. Lothrop was recognized for their efforts in water use efficiency, energy efficiency, solid waste management and recycling, indoor environmental quality, and grounds and landscaping. Members of Lothrop's Green Team proudly display the school's "Green School" flag following the presentation.
