Congratulations to Beveridge Magnet Middle Student Henry Harrison!

Congratulations to Beveridge Magnet Middle School eighth-grader Henry Harrison who was awarded a full-tuition scholarship to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln! 

Harrison took the ACT as a seventh-grader through the Duke University Talent Identification Program and earned a perfect score of 36 on the reading section of the exam, and a composite score of 32.  UNL Chancellor Harvey Perlman and the Lil' Red mascot surprised Harrison with the scholarship offer during a school assembly on Friday, Oct. 15.  Harrison said he plans to study computer engineering in college.
